Human Insight supported a senior management team in HMRC's IT Directorate - Information Managment Services - to build and enable its capability to drive improved performance as it faced constant change. The team worked with the AEM-cube® and Mission Driven Priorities (MDP®) processes to improve group dynamics, build trust and openess through honest dialogue, gain insight into its diversity of talents, and sharpen its focus on its role, processes and outcomes.

Gemserv

Gemserv advises industry on how to create the right conditions and governance for making markets work. Central to their choice of Human Insight as a partner in development was Gemserv’s many shared beliefs and values about organisational change and leadership. Based on the philosophies of business ecology - that all organisations are living and constantly evolving entities – an alliance has developed which is generating a close and complimentary working relationship, matching support to the emergent needs of Gemserv as it develops.

HBOS

In a continuation of support provided to the Group Technology team, we were asked to work with the top team in GT, subsequent to the intial forming work that we had done with them, where the basics of our MDP® process had been put in place.  One year on, the team had changed quite significantly - with 3 new Customer Management leads and a switch around in other technology and IT change roles.  We, again, used AEM-cube® profiles as a mechanism to build openness and trust within the team - as well as revisiting Mission and CST's for the forthcoming year.  This was both an exploratory as well as binding exercise, which saw team members develop a common platform fo rmoving ahead over the next 12 months.

RBS

In 2006, Human Insight was appointed as the preferred supplier to the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) in Executive Team Development.  With 150,000 employees, RBS is one of the world's top 10 financial services Groups; and in the UK, a leading provider of corporate banking services and a market leader in the provision of retail banking, wealth management, consumer finance and insurance.

Human Insight were asked to support one of the senior teams responsible for Branch operations within the bank to raise its performance even higher (established team with long-standing record for excellent performance) as well as gear the team up for imminent change.  Through an AEM-cubesupported process we focussed on aligning the team's key priorities with how best each team member could contribute and use these insights to anticipate future challenges.  Through this process the team improved its levels of trust, mutual interdependence and delivery focus.

"....We used Human Insight as we wanted a robust, proven process to help us deliver as a team but which, at the same time, would focus on our business priorities.

We also needed something that would make a difference when we returned to our day to day task of running our business and leading our teams. All of our teams have benefited from getting the 360 ° feedback the AEM-cube® provides and also from working together as a team to agree how we can further grow our business.  I know my team have implemented the development individually but also in their teams"
Anita Hunt, Regional Managing Director, RBS Scotland
