Drawing on business ecology thinking, the AEM-cubeTM is different from standard psychology-based tools that are used so widely in organisations.  It analyses individuals' differing abilities to respond to the changing demands of the business cycle.  The AEM-cubeTM measures this ability using three scales: attachment, maturity and exploration.

Our preferences on these scales are shaped by evolution and are directly related to our attitudes to change.  They thus directly influence our behaviour - how we react to change, where we are predisposed to make our most important contribution.

The AEM-cubeTM is a 360 feedback instrument.  The resulting report shows an individual's and teams' posture towards change, challenge, task and purpose.  This enables individuals to understand their positions within a team.  The report links the need for diversity of thinking with the need for congruence of vision, value and behaviour as a powerful platform to building trust and increasing performance.
